The Hermit

The Hermit is a seeker for knowledge that comes from within. A lonely traveller through the mountains, they search for that which can only be gained with long periods of solitude - the inner voice.

In the tarot, the Hermit stands alone on the top of a mountain. The range symbolizes spiritual mastery, growth, and accomplishment. In their right hand, they hold a lantern with a six-pointed star inside, a symbol of wisdom. In their left, they hold a staff, a symbol of power. As The Hermit walks the path, the lamp will light the way – but can only illuminate one step at a time, rather than the full journey.

The Hermit invites you to retreat into seclusion and introspection.
